Young Fives and Kindergarten Enrollment Information for 2023-2024

*Students currently enrolled in Young Fives at Discovery Elementary do not need to re-enroll for Kindergarten.  

**According to Michigan Law, if a student will not be five years old by September 1, 2023, but will be five years old by December 1, 2023, they may be enrolled in Kindergarten or Young Fives if the parent or legal guardian notifies the school district in writing that he or she intends to enroll their child in Kindergarten or Young Fives. Those with birthdates after June 1, will be prioritized for Young Fives first if the parent chooses.
