The Williamston High School InvenTeam completed its mid-grant technical review. Students presented progress on their invention and took questions from faculty from the Massachusetts Insitute of Technology (MIT), Michigan State University, and area high schools.
InvenTeams is a competitive national grant initiative within the School of Engineering at MIT. The program offers high school students an opportunity to develop an invention that solves a real-world program. If selected, students will present their work at EurekaFest. This year EurekaFest will be held at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington, DC. Williamston High School is one of only four high schools in the United States to be selected for an InvenTeam grant three times by MIT.
