Williamston SAT Results Among Michigan's Best

Williamston High School's 2018-19 Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) results were highlighted by a significant improvement on the mathematics portion of the state assessment. The overall results placed WHS in the top tier of Michigan high schools.

As reported by MLive, WHS made a notable gain in mathematics scores and overall SAT averages in a year when SAT scores declined across Michigan. The top tier list is generally populated by larger high schools in affluent areas of the state or early college/magnet high schools. WHS is one of a few outlier schools to make the list, with SAT scores ranking #68 out of 729 public high schools in Michigan.

The SAT is administered to all high school juniors across the state every spring. The assessment is also used as a predictor of future success by many colleges and universities in the United States.
