Mrs. Debra LaFleur has been selected as Assistant Principal of Williamston High School. Mrs. LaFleur follows Mr. Michael Freeman, who served in the position for the past 18 years before retiring this spring.
Mrs. LaFleur has served as an educator with the Williamston Community Schools since 1995, including many years as an English Language Arts and literacy intervention teacher at Williamston Middle School. Her previous district leadership positions include Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) coach at the secondary and district levels. Mrs. LaFleur's leadership and commitment to serving students, teachers, and families are aspects that inspire her role as Assistant Principal.
Mrs. LaFleur earned a master’s degree in literacy instruction from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in education from Western Michigan University.
Mrs. LaFleur enjoys community service and traveling with her husband Andy and two daughters.
