Coach Kersten Inducted into Michigan Football Hall of Fame
Williamston Head Football Coach Steve Kersten was selected to the Michigan Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Coach Kersten has coached the Hornets since 2001, compiling a 144 - 89 record. His accomplishments include 16 state playoff bids, including reaching the state finals in 2010.

Coach Kersten has also made invaluable contributions as an educator at Williamston High School. He has taught mathematics and robotics courses. He has been instrumental in the District's STEAM initiative, including leading the high school's award-winning Innovative Vehicle Design (IVD) team. He has developed strong relationships and has had a lasting, positive influence on thousands of young people. Congratulations to Coach Kersten on his induction to the Michigan Football Hall of Fame.
