WHS Student Wins Congressional App Challenge

Williamston High School Senior Martin was selected as the winner of the 2023 Congressional App Challenge. Martin collaborated with two classmates from other local districts to develop an application that allows users to quickly find low-cost snacks at area grocery stores.

The Snacks Maps app was selected by a panel of judges who recognized the "creativity, functionality, and overall excellence" demonstrated by the project.

The 2023 Congressional App Challenge was sponsored by Representative Elissa Slotkin's office. Students from throughout the 7th Congressional District submitted applications. Martin and his peers created their app as part of the Programming & Mobile Application Course at the Wilson Talent Center
