The Williamston High School Model United Nations team won Best Delegation at the Great Lakes Invitational in Kalamazoo. WHS students represented several countries at the event, including China, Ghana, Belgium, and Denmark.
Student delegates experienced negotiating issues such as genocide, Sudanese conflicts, reducing military budgets, climate change and public health, informal settlements, and the use of the death penalty.
Congratulations to the following WHS students for earning Best Delegation honors: Izzy, Lee, and Hunter (China) and Allison, Abby, and Viv (Belgium).
