Williamston AD Inducted into Basketball Hall of Fame

WCS Director of Athletics and Enrichment Paige Paulsen was inducted into the South Dakota High School Basketball Hall of Fame. Mr. Paulsen was named both Mr. Basketball and the state's Gatorade Player of the Year before going on to compete at the Division I and professional levels.

Williamston athletic director honored

Williamston athletic director Paige Paulsen was inducted into the South Dakota High School Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday. Paulsen was inducted along with his late brother, Derek. 

Paige Paulsen starred at Custer High School in South Dakota where he was a Mr. Basketball winner and the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year. He ended his career with 1,790 points before going on to play collegiately at Northern Illinois and Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Paulsen is the son of Fred Paulsen, who was a former assistant at Michigan State under Jud Heathcote.
