Williamston High School alumni Emily Preston and Kayla Turner were awarded scholarships by the Greater Lansing United Nations Association. The scholarships were based upon faculty nominations and were granted for leadership in the WHS Model United Nations program over several years.
Emily and Kayla were nominated by their Model UN faculty advisors this past spring. They were each awarded $500 scholarships this fall. Six (6) WHS students/graduates have achieved this distinction over the past 15 years.
