The Williamston High School Be Nice Student Organization sponsored a varsity football game to raise awareness and remove the stigma regarding mental illness. The game included information for attendees on mental health and suicide prevention.
Haslett Public Schools, another Be Nice district, collaborated to share information with attendees. The Williamston Football and Cheerleading teams wore custom Be Nice uniforms in support of the event.

Be Nice is a student-led organization that encourages peers to Notice, Invite, Challenge, and Empower students experiencing changes or difficulties with their mental health. Be Nice events such as this game extends this opportunity to community members. Our community plays a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for our students. Through increased understanding, the response or intervention to a child in crisis could save a life. We are grateful for the community's support of this critically important initiative.
