The State Champion WCS Boys Basketball team has continued to receive recognition for their undefeated 2021-2022 season. Students and coaches were invited to the State Capital where they were presented with an honorific plaque. The team also visited Jackson Field, where Head Coach Tom Lewis threw out the first pitch.
Coach Lewis and the team will also be Grand Marshals of the 2022 Williamston Red Cedar Jubilee. They will be highlighted in the annual parade through downtown Williamston.
