Since 1972, fifth-grade students at WCS have attended a week-long day camp at Camp Pa-Wa-Pi. The event provides numerous curricular integration opportunities and strengthens relationships between students.
Students participate in a wide variety of activities, including cooperative games, art projects, creative writing, low-ropes exercises, and archery. The camp concludes with skits and a cook-out. WCS thanks this year's sponsors; The Simmons Foundation and Williamston Kiwanis for making the camp experience possible. Additionally, WCS is grateful for the numerous parent volunteers who supported teachers with the many activities and logistics requirements over the week.
