WCS Earns School Resource Officer Grant
Williamston Community Schools was selected as a recipient of the 2023 School Resource Officer (SRO) Grant. The grant was awarded by the Michigan State Police. The grant will provide for a formalized SRO program in support of student and staff safety. Learn more by selecting the link.

WHS Ranked #1 Again
Williamston High School earned the top School Index Score in Mid-Michigan for the fourth consecutive year. WHS earned a 97.49/100 overall rating. All eligible WCS schools were listed as Reward Schools with an A rating on the 2022 School Grades Report. These data were published on MySchoolData.org by the Michigan Department of Education. Explorer First Robotics Team Inaugural Season

Williamston Basketball Programs Best in Mid-Michigan

WCS Distributes COVID-19 Test Kits
WCS distributed over 520 COVID-19 rapid test kits in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The "backpack" kits were acquired through collaboration with MDHHS and provided to staff and students upon parent request. Recent WHS Grads Earn United Nations Association Scholarships
Williamston High School alumni Emily Preston and Kayla Turner were awarded scholarships by the Greater Lansing United Nations Association. WHS Student Named National Merit Semifinalist
Williamston High School Senior Olivia Schroder was named a National Merit Semifinalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Olivia earned this distinction by earning one of the highest SAT scores in Michigan. Learn more by selecting the link.
