  •  MLK Art Contest Winner, 2023

    WHS Student Wins MLK Art Contest

    Williamston High School student Sarah won the 2023 Dr. Martin Luther King Art Contest sponsored by the Mid-Michigan MLK Commission. Sarah earned a $500 prize. Additionally, her artwork will be displayed at the NAMI Center in Lansing. Learn more by selecting the link.

  •  Innovative Design Vehicle, 2023

    Innovative Vehicle Design Team Wins Multiple Awards

    Williamston’s Innovative Vehicle Design (IVD) team distinguished itself at Square One's 16th Annual IVD Competition. The event was held at Kettering University's GM Mobility Research Center.  The team won the premier hour-long race and the Innovation Award. Lt. Gov.     WCS continues its commitment to removing the stigma surrounding mental health and providing resources for students via the Be Nice program.     WCS E-Sports Team Completes Inaugural Season

    Williamston High School fielded five E-Sports teams that participated in the Michigan High School E-Sports League (MHSEL).     The 2023 Fine Arts Fest featured WCS students from Young Fives through 12th grade. The event included almost 180 entries into the Spring Arts Competition as well as visual arts displays and musical performances by students throughout the district.   •  KCLH Playground Revision 2023

    Kids' Corner and Little Hornets Playground Enhancements

    The preschool and childcare playground completed the first phase of a $125,000 grant-funded renovation. Old equipment was removed and replaced with modern, inclusive climbers and play structures.     WHS Student Wins MSUFCU Art Competition

    WHS Student Liz Schafer won both the Social Media Award and the first-place Juried Award at the 2023 MSUFCU Art Competition. Liz received a $350 prize and will have their artwork displayed on digital billboards throughout the Lansing area for the next month. Select the link to learn more.

    WHS Student Wins State Wrestling Championship and Scholar-Athlete Award

    Williamston High School student Cam Johnecheck won the 144-pound weight class state championship at the MHSAA Wrestling Finals held at Ford Field. Cam was also selected as one of 32 MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Scholarship recipients. Learn more about these accomplishments by selecting the link.
