21st Century Sports is a new elective to WMS this year. The focus of the class is the evolution of sports and technology and the potential advancements and careers that students will be able to explore in sports-related fields. Geoff Kimmerly of MHSAA was the first guest speaker and shared the development of digital content and careers in journalism. James Edwards of The Athletic: Detroit and Jack Ebling, formerly of the Lansing State Journal and 92.1 FM The Drive with Jack Show are scheduled to also speak this semester.
