Our mission is to expose children to the numerous foundational skills necessary to be ready for kindergarten, allow children to participate in a wide range of experiences, and assist in the development to their full potential. Young children learn best by doing. Learning requires active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn firsthand about the world we live in.

Welcome to Little Hornets Preschool and Kids’ Corner Childcare! Our program is licensed by the State of Michigan and has a four-star rating from Great Start to Quality. A goal throughout our program is to support the whole child and their family. Dedicated partnerships with our families and the community are key to the child’s health, well-being and potential. Our knowledgeable and experienced teachers believe that children learn best when actively engaged with their environment. Classroom experiences are designed to meet the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, creative, and unique needs of each child. Teachers provide a balance of instructional and discovery strategies throughout the day to support the diverse needs of our young learners. This positive foundation encourages children to become problem solvers and lifelong learners.

We thank our current and past families for beginning their child’s educational journey with us and welcome the opportunity to share our love and passion for educating young children with new families.
