Elementary STEAM Lab

The Elementary Campus Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) laboratory is the first of its kind in Michigan. The lab was recognized as the 2019 Education Excellence award recipient by SET SEG and the Michigan Association of School Boards (M.A.S.B.). All students from developmental kindergarten/young fives to fifth-grade have the opportunity to attend class in the lab on a regular basis. The classroom is designed to foster a completely interactive and collaborative learning environment. Students have the ability to engage with an unprecedented variety of resources ranging from numerous types of programmable robots, 3-D printing, modeling and design materials, and 1:1 Chromebooks and iPads. The goal of the STEAM lab is to integrate and extend the learning that students receive in their core-content classes while simultaneously developing 21st Century skills in all elementary learners. Williamston Innovation Labs

The Williamston Innovation Labs represent some of the most cutting-edge classrooms available anywhere. The labs include reimagined surfaces, completely new technology infrastructure, flexible seating furniture, and 1:1 mobile device integration as well as virtual reality and 3D printing capabilities. Teachers have access to countless instructional resources, including the most current equipment and applications to enhance S.T.E.A.M. exploration.
Flexible Seating Classrooms

Williamston is a pioneering district regarding the use of flexible seating. Teachers have the capability of efficiently redesigning the configuration of their classrooms to adapt to the unique design of a specific lesson or needs of their students. Recent technology upgrades remove a singular "point of instruction," enabling teachers to manage personal and student devices and facilitate learning from any location within the classroom.
McGoff Performing Arts Center

The McGoff Performing Arts Center hosts numerous District productions throughout the school year and is frequently reserved by private companies for local and regional events. McGoff seats 544 and includes recent lighting and rigging updates. In 2019 the stage floor was resurfaced and curtains were completely replaced with additional renovations planned.
Williamston High School Commons

The Williamston High School Commons was renovated in 2019. Upgrades included flexible seating options for students, to include high top seats and tables, booths, and tables configured to recharge devices. The space also received new paint and bottle fillers. Directly outside the commons, picnic-style seating has been added for students in the enclosed high school courtyard.
Discovery Elementary Media Center

The Discovery Elementary Media Center serves students at Discovery and Explorer Elementary Schools. The media center has an annual average circulation of 27,000 books and is visited at least weekly by students in all elementary classrooms. The media center also hosts special literacy events, meetings, and extra-curricular activities.
Performance Gym "Hornets' Nest"

The Williamston Performance Gym is referred to as the Hornets' Nest. The gym is home to the Williamston Basketball and Volleyball teams. It also hosts wrestling, music, and community programming events. The gym includes a concession stand, locker rooms, an indoor track, and home and visitor seating. The gym was constructed in 2007 and upgraded with LED lighting and retractable blinds in 2018. In 2019 a new playing surface was installed. Renovations in 2023 included new scoreboards, sound system, graphics, and wall padding. The venue is considered one of the top facilities of its kind in the region.
Williamston Soccer Complex

The Williamston Soccer Complex is home to the Hornet soccer program. The stadium features wireless internet, home and visitor seating, a full concession stand, and a natural grass playing surface. The facility is widely regarded as one of the best in the state and routinely hosts the Michigan high school soccer playoffs.
Larkin Nortman Memorial Field and Track Complex

Larkin Nortman Memorial Field is home to the Williamston Community Football Teams. Located in Downtown Williamston, the complex includes a newly constructed player entrance tunnel, two concession stands, home and visitor sideline seating, player locker rooms, and a natural grass playing surface. The track was resurfaced in 2020. The facility was named a 2023, 2022, and 2021 Fields of Excellence Award Winner by Pioneer Athletics.
Hornet Weight Room and Fitness Center

The Fitness Center features an indoor track, cardio, and weight equipment. The cardio equipment includes treadmills, bikes, rowing machines and stair steppers, which all look out into the track area. With both free weights and Nautilus machines the weight room has many options for advancing fitness goals. Personal trainers are on staff and available to student athletes and community members.
Williamston Community Pool

Williamston Community Pool is home to the Williamston Swim and Dive teams. It includes a 25 yard, six lane lap pool. With both a shallow and deep area it is popular with families and lap swimmers alike. An eight person hot tub is open to those 16 and over. It also includes full locker rooms with a 2018 addition of a family changing and shower room.
Williamston Baseball Complex

The Williamston Baseball Complex features a two-story press box, sound system, concession stand, and home and away bleachers. Batting cages and storage facilities are located near the field. A new scoreboard was added in 2019. The baseball field was named a 2023 Fields of Excellence Award recipient by Pioneer Athletics.
Mary Marshall Tennis Courts

The Mary Marshall Tennis Courts are home to the Williamston Tennis program. The facility includes eight courts, storage facilities, covered seating, and a ticket gate. The courts were resurfaced in 2021. A new practice backstop was installed in 2022.
Williamston Softball Field

The Williamston Softball Field is located behind Williamston Middle School. The facility includes home and away bleachers, dugouts, a concession stand, press box, and an electronic scoreboard. A new scoreboard was installed in 2022.
