Dear Parent/Guardian –
Your child may be in a classroom with a student who has a life-threatening allergy to nuts.
These classrooms have been designated as “nut-free” zones, and your child’s teacher has
discussed the safety precautions necessary to create a classroom that is “nut-free”. We
need your help when preparing snacks for your child to bring to school. Please read labels
carefully and do not send any snacks or baked goods that contain nuts or traces of nuts to
be consumed by your child in the classroom.
