• PowerSchool Parent Access Troubleshooting Steps

    • If you already have a PowerSchool Parent account but are having trouble accessing it, please try to use the "Forgot Username or Password?" option on the login page to regain access to your existing account.
    • If you do not currently have a PowerSchool Parent account or are missing access to one or more of your students, please check your email for instructions from an "@gowcs.net" email address on how to either set up a new account or link any missing student(s) to your existing account. We proactively distribute this information to parents. You will need an Access ID and Access Password for each student who still needs to be connected to your parent account.
      • If you received an access code for only some but not all of your students, you may already have a PowerSchool Parent account that is connected to the remaining students. Please try to use the account recovery process on the login page (by clicking "Forgot Username or Password?") to attempt to regain access to an existing account that may have been forgotten about. Then, proceed with connecting any missing students to the existing account.
      • Once you have received all student Access ID and Access Password information, here are the next steps.
        • If you need to create a new PowerSchool Parent account, click here.
        • If you need to add a missing student to an existing PowerSchool Parent account:
          1. Sign in to your PowerSchool Parent account here
          2. Click Account Preferences on the left menu
          3. Under Account Preferences, click on the Students tab
          4. Now click on the Add + button and enter the missing student's name, access ID and access password information
    • If issues persist with gaining PowerSchool Parent access to any or all of your students, please email support@gowcs.net so that our IT support staff can assist you.
