- https://studio.code.org/home-While class was in session, you should have completed Lessons 1-14 and 16 on Unit 5. If you did not, you need to do so. I opened Lessons 15 and 17 as well--if you would like to try these out, I think you’ll find the topics interesting. It is not a requirement to complete these lessons.
- You can make up any activities in PowerSchool that are out of 2 points, if you did not earn full credit. Please email me at herekr@gowcs.net when you complete these activities.

MSA Research:
- Perform any edits to your Research Proposal that I suggested previously.
- Update your methodology to reflect what you actually did rather than what you thought you were going to do.
- Determine which significance tests you will perform on your data. Possibilities include: 2-sample t-test, Mann-Whitney U-Test (non-parametric version of 2-sample t-test), Matched Pairs t-test, Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test (non-parametric version of Matched Pairs t-test). Almost everyone will use one of these. Here are some links on those.

Here are the CDC 's suggestions for protecting your mental health: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/managing-stress-anxiety.html
- Limiting exposure to the news (only 30 minutes to 1 hour a day). If your child is especially anxious about the news, have them avoid it during this time.
- Keeping a clear routine: For example, still enforcing bed and wake up times, having scheduled academic times for kids, scheduled chores
- Going outside
- Limiting screen time: For ex., having two hours where students are expected to read, go outside, play with non-electronic toys
- Staying connected with friends and loved ones through technology
- Focus on what you can control instead of what you can't: For example, we can't control the world right now but we can control how we treat others, what we wear, what we eat, what we say to others, etc
- Exercise & eat healthily
- Organized family time: For example, game night, movie night, cooking together, going for a walk, etc
- Using this time to do things you have always wanted to do, but have never had the time to: clean, pick up a hobby, finish a read, etc
