Welcome to Williamston High School!

Williamston High School is devoted to the development of 21st-century learners and global citizens while focusing on the physical, social, and emotional growth and support of all students.

  • Dear WHS students and families,

     
    As a reminder, WHS will be administering optional in person standardized tests April 13-15.  Taking the tests are optional, and there is no penalty for students who opt not to participate.  District transportation will not be provided, and students will exit WHS upon completion of their test(s).  All students are expected to follow the WHS COVID Safety Protocols at all times while in the building.

    Students should plan to arrive in the building at least fifteen minutes before the time they need to be in their assigned seats EACH DAY.

    Day 1 - Tuesday, April 13, 2021

    • SAT (juniors). Students are expected to be in their assigned seats no later than 8:50 AM. Room assignments will be posted on windows and entrance doors around the building. An optional SAT make up day is scheduled for April 27 for any junior who opts not to take the SAT on April 13 (more information about the SAT make up will be forthcoming).

    • PSAT 8/9 (freshmen), PSAT 10 (sophomores). Students are expected to be in their assigned seats no later than 11:50 AM. Room assignments will be posted on the windows and entrance doors around the building.

    There is no class (no asynchronous or synchronous sessions) on April 13.  At the conclusion of Day 1 testing, all students will exit WHS. The time of release will be approximately SAT - 1:15 PM, PSAT 8/9 - 2:40 PM, PSAT 10 - 3:00 PM.  Students receiving individual testing accommodations received communication from Michelle Greenleaf with specific testing times. Please arrange transportation for your student at the completion of his/her test. 

    Day 2 - Wednesday, April 14, 2021 

    • ACT WorkKeys test (for juniors only). Juniors are expected to be in their assigned seats no later than 11:50 AM. The test will end at approximately 2:30 PM. Please arrange transportation for your student at the completion of his/her test.

    • All 9th, 10th, and 12th grade students have a regular day of school. Juniors should plan to complete their AM asynchronous work.

    Day 3 - Thursday, April 15, 2021.  

    • M-STEP test (for juniors only). Juniors are expected to be in their assigned seats no later than 11:50 AM. The test is untimed and students will complete the test between 1:30-3:00 PM. Please arrange transportation for your student at the completion of his/her test.

    • All 9th, 10th, and 12th grade students have a regular day of school. Juniors should plan to complete their AM asynchronous work.
