Congratulations to the Williamston High School InvenTeam for receiving one of fourteen national 2015-16 Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam grants for invention projects. The WHS InvenTeam was awarded $10,000 in grant funding as part of an initiative to inspire young people to solve real-world problems through invention. The Team's invention is a locker access device to help children with neurodevelopmental disabilities in schools.
Donations are being accepted to support expenses for the InvenTeam to travel to Boston for the competition at MIT.
